Those experiences all contribute to our corporate vision to help individual patients get the best possible result when they are prescribed a life-saving medication.

CEO, Vivaleas US LLC

William P. McCormick

Bill serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Vivaleas Holdings, LLC and is responsible for the activities of Vivaleas in the United States and Internationally. Bill has over thirty years of experience in healthcare, starting out as a registered pharmacist with the subsequent addition of a law degree in 1988. Bill has focused on the distribution and reimbursement of specialty oral, injectable and infusion medications throughout his career. As the first in-house counsel at a company known as Stadtlanders Pharmacy, Bill was deeply involved in the launch of Crixivan®, which was the first meaningful treatment of HIV/AIDS. Stadtlanders was the exclusive source of this important medication in the United States. Subsequent to Stadtlanders, Bill was involved in the start-up of CuraScript, a well-respected, patient focused specialty pharmacy that was subsequently sold to Express Scripts.

Bill has also spent a large amount of his career as an independent attorney focusing on mergers and acquisitions, development of pharmaceutical launch programs, pharmaceutical distribution systems, healthcare technology initiatives, regulatory compliance issues and care delivery networks.

Bill holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

President, Vivaleas US LLC

Michael Joslin

Mike brings over 28 years of healthcare leadership to Vivaleas. His wide-ranging business experience includes both publicly and privately held companies as well as start-ups in the areas of Utilization Management, Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).

Mike was previously a partner with CareCore National, the U.S.’s largest utilization management company. He held various senior management positions before the successful sale of CareCore National to a private equity firm. As President of OncoMetrix, a drug and data management firm, Mike lead the company’s growth and subsequent merger with CareCore National. Previously, he was EVP of Oncology at CuraScript, a specialty pharmacy and founding COO at OncoScripts, an oncology focused specialty pharmacy. Prior to that, Mike held marketing and sales positions at both Caremark and Baxter International.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Drake University. He is actively involved with mentoring start-ups and is an Angel Investor with Ariel Southeast Angel Partnership. Mike splits his time between Chatham, Massachusetts and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Genese Hendrickson

With more than two decades of experience in healthcare, Genese Hendrickson has earned a reputation for excellence working with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers to launch new products and resolve their most pressing business challenges.

Strategic, value-driven, and compassionate, Genese’s philosophy is simple—enhance patient support and customer satisfaction with a focus on the details to ensure everything will fall into place. To that end, Genese’s passion is listening to her clients and delivering customized, holistic solutions that are reverse-engineered to best meet their needs.

As the Executive Vice President of Vivaleas US, Genese has an innate ability to build strong and mutually beneficial relationship with people at all levels, serving a trusted advisor to the blue-chip clients who depend on her vast knowledge, intense work ethic, strong leadership style, and ability to quickly drive results.

Prior to joining Vivaleas, Genese worked in senior leadership roles in companies that include CuraScript Pharmacy (Express Scripts), Aetna, Magellan Pharmacy Solutions, and Diplomat Pharmacy.

A lifelong learner, Genese earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Central Florida, as well as certifications in leadership management from Rollins College and a Six Sigma Green Belt. A consummate networker, Genese is active in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Business Association for Women.

When Genese isn’t working, she’s a band and baseball mom who enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Executive Vice President International, General Manager Vivaleas SA

Manuel T. Nyffeler

Manuel leads our International Development as Executive Vice President International and General Manager of the international HQ Vivaleas SA. Manuel brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, from pharma, biotech and life sciences to medical devices, clinical diagnostics, clinical nutrition, pharmaceutical distribution as well as in the health retail industry. Manuel led the Global Industry Relations and Services Division at Walgreens Boots Alliance, overseeing the development and implementation of patient-centric data driven solutions, business development and strategic contract negotiations with the industry. He started his career at Pharmacia AB, moving to Amersham plc, then to GE Healthcare, through successive rounds of acquisitions. At GE Healthcare he held a variety of positions in sales, sales management, regional and global marketing and commercial management. Manuel served as well at NestléHealthScience as Business Head for Region Europe then as Lead Geographic Expansions, further he served as Global Vice President of Immunohematology at BioRad Laboratories.   Manuel received his bachelor’s in Medical Sciences and master’s in International Marketing from University of Lausanne, and a master’s in business administration from University of Geneva. He completed a certification in Leadership and Business Innovation Management at the IMD Lausanne, and holds a SixSigma Green Belt. Manuel’s primary residence is in Geneva, Switzerland

Head of Clinical Services, Vivaleas SA

Dr. Walid Hachicha

Walid leads our clinical development as Head of Clinical Services. Walid brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, focused on drug development and research in the pharmaceutical industry then moving into retail pharmacy and leading various customer centricity programs. Walid all steps of the medicine journey from the very early stages of development, through clinical studies, moving into its commercialization and patient dispensation. In his career Walid developed novel pharmaceutical formulations in his tenure at the National Scientific Research Center in France (CNRS), mastered formulation, quality assurance and control at Aventis/Sanofi, and managed retail pharmacies in France and Switzerland. Keeping a patient centric approach at the heart of his endeavors, in his service at the Phoenix Group, he led one of the biggest retail pharmacies of Switzerland collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders as well as caregivers to continuously provide optimal and customized services. Walid received his Pharmacist Doctor degree, M.Sc in Drugs and Cosmetics Formulations  as well as a Ph.D in Medical and Biological Engineering from Claude Bernard University in Lyon, and his Master in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. He holds certificates in Leadership, Quality Management and Project Management. Walid’s Primary residence is in Geneva, Switzerland
